Dtonic has once again been recognized for its leadership in AI-powered data infrastructure for smart cities.

The WSCE is Asia’s largest smart city exhibition, co-hosted by Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Science and ICT. It brings together cutting-edge technologies and urban innovation from around the world, with over 300 participating organizations from more than 70 countries last year alone. Contracts signed during the event often reach nearly KRW 1 trillion in total value.
This latest accolade adds to Dtonic’s growing list of high-profile recognitions, including the Silver Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit, ministerial awards from the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, a South Summit win, and designation as an Innovation Premier company. These honors highlight Dtonic’s technological excellence and commercial success in the AI data platform space.
Dtonic’s award-winning technologies—D.Hub, its AI-powered data platform, and D.Edge, its on-device AI edge platform—are already being used by cities and companies both in Korea and internationally to power next-generation smart city services. These platforms played a central role in Dtonic’s recognition at WSCE, as they continue to contribute to solving urban challenges such as traffic congestion, public safety, and infrastructure efficiency.
Notably, three cities that partnered with Dtonic were also honored at this year’s WSCE:
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Recognized for deploying D.Hub and D.Edge to ease downtown parking congestion
Ulsan Metropolitan City – For building a city-wide Smart City Data Hub
Incheon Metropolitan City – For initiatives like smart senior community centers
Data infrastructure—alongside hardware like GPUs and AI services such as ChatGPT—forms one of the three core pillars of the AI value chain. Globally, this space is led by companies like Palantir, Scale AI, Snowflake, and Databricks. Dtonic continues to position itself among these global leaders.
Dtonic CEO Yong-Joo jUN remarked,
“Interest in Dtonic’s unique AI data platform technology and implementation experience is growing rapidly among cities and enterprises worldwide. This global recognition at WSCE will accelerate our international expansion efforts.”
