Dtonic Launches Smart Green Industrial Complex Initiative, Covering 11 Districts in Chuncheon
Dtonic is expanding its business scope into the Smart Green Industrial Complex sector. As a first step, the company has officially commenced work on the Gangwon Hupyeong Smart Green Industrial Complex integrated control center project.

Located in Gangwon Province — a mountainous region in northeastern South Korea, historically known for its natural landscapes and ski resorts — Chuncheon serves as the provincial capital and is home to a significant concentration of the country's older manufacturing infrastructure. The project covers 11 industrial complexes across the city, including the Hupyeong General Industrial Complex and neighboring districts such as Geodu, Namsan, and Toegye.
This large-scale initiative aims to modernize these aging facilities into safe, intelligent operational environments. Dtonic will deploy its proprietary AI data platform to unify safety, traffic, and convenience systems across all sites into a single data-driven management layer.
Key technologies include AI-powered intelligent CCTV, autonomous patrol robots, fire monitoring, smart snow removal systems, and 5G private networks — all organically interconnected through the platform. Dtonic previously won data hub supply contracts in Busan (South Korea's second-largest city and main port), South Gyeongsang Province, and North Chungcheong Province since 2023, demonstrating a growing national footprint in industrial AI infrastructure.
With over 560 aging industrial complexes nationwide undergoing smart transformation, Dtonic sees significant business opportunities ahead in this rapidly expanding sector.
