Dtonic Selected for Presight's Global AI Accelerator

AI platform company Dtonic has laid the groundwork for its expansion into the global sovereign AI market. Dtonic announced that it has been named a final selection for "Cohort II," the global AI accelerator program run by Presight, the flagship listed company of global AI technology group G42.

Following its first cohort last year, Presight’s AI Acceleration program’s second round drew fierce competition, with 376 promising AI companies from 62 countries around the world submitting applications. Starting in April, Presight put candidates through a rigorous vetting process, including document screening, technical evaluation, and in-depth interviews, before finalizing 12 innovative AI companies. Presight described Dtonic as "an AI-powered data platform that transforms spatiotemporal and physical-world data into real-time operational intelligence for AI cities, defense, and retail operations."

The selection is significant in that it connects Dtonic directly to the global AI ecosystem built by the G42 Group. G42 works closely with major global tech companies, including Microsoft, OpenAI, and Nvidia, to establish an early foothold in AI markets across emerging economies worldwide. Presight plans to connect selected companies with G42's global AI ecosystem, offering opportunities to collaborate on hyperscale computing infrastructure, technical support, and a global network of AI partners.

Dtonic has already built a local foothold through successful participation in smart city and smart retail projects across Europe and the MENA region, and this cohort selection is expected to accelerate its ongoing push into the global sovereign AI market. Presight, which runs the cohort program, powers core infrastructure for the UAE federal government, its central bank, and national oil company ADNOC, and has recently been rapidly expanding across Europe, Central Asia, and Africa, including Albania's smart nation project and smart city initiatives in Kazakhstan.

Beyond global market expansion, the selection also broadens investment opportunities. Cohort II companies gain the chance to collaborate with major global tech investors, including Jack Selby of Thiel Capital, and are also considered for investment through Presight's own fund.

Presight CEO Thomas Pramotedham said, "The capabilities of the AI companies joining Cohort II will strengthen the ecosystem we are building. Together with them, we aim to go beyond developing advanced technology and grow into a global hub for sovereign AI that is commercially deployed at national scale." Dtonic CEO Yong Joo Jun said, "This selection reflects recognition of Dtonic's AI platform technology and business capabilities in the global market. Building on the AI ecosystem of the G42 Group and Presight, we will accelerate our sovereign AI business in smart cities and defense across MENA and other global emerging markets."

Spun off from Hyundai Motor Company in 2014, Dtonic is a specialized AI data platform company. By combining the high-speed data processing performance of its spatiotemporal big data engine, Geo-Hiker, with ontology-based data semantics, hybrid RAG, and multi-agent system (MAS) technology, Dtonic builds an end-to-end AX (AI Transformation) operating environment that spans the entire data lifecycle, from collection and classification to processing, analysis, and execution.
