“The problem in future warfare will not be a shortage of information. It will be too much of it, arriving too fast, from too many sources at once.”
That was the core argument CEO Yongjoo Jun made at the AI-Based MUM-T Development Seminar, held on June 9 at the Daejeon Convention Center as part of InLEX 2026, South Korea's national defense industry exhibition.
MUM-T (Manned-Unmanned Teaming) is the operating model where fighters, armored vehicles, drones, unmanned ground vehicles, surveillance assets, and command systems all run simultaneously in the same theater. Each platform generates data. The question is what you do with it.
Jun's answer: the next generation of battlefield AI should not focus on collecting more data. It should focus on making sure every actor in the field is looking at the same situation, interpreted the same way, at the same time.
"If different units draw different conclusions from the same data, response speed and operational efficiency suffer," Jun said. "The competitive advantage in future warfare will not come from who holds the most data, but from who understands the situation first and shares it fastest."
Dtonic is building toward this with Geo-Hiker, its high-speed spatiotemporal data processing engine, combined with ontology-based semantic analysis, hybrid RAG, and multi-agent system (MAS) technology. The goal is to connect individual events into a single coherent operational picture, then distribute that picture across all manned and unmanned participants in real time. This is what Dtonic calls mutual situational awareness.
At InLEX, Dtonic is also showcasing L-NODE, a defense-specialized AI platform co-developed with LIG D&A, built on the same data collection, analysis, and decision-support architecture.
